The Therapy we do Together
I offer individual telehealth therapy, in English and Spanish, for anyone who identifies as a woman, ages 14 and up, providing compassionate support through life’s transitions, challenges, and moments of personal growth. My areas of focus include adolescents and young women, maternal mental health, menopause, perfectionism, anxiety, cultural identity, and mother-daughter relationships. My practice is informed by a woman-centered approach and integrates principles of neurocounseling to support mind-body awareness and emotional regulation.
My education was heavily psychodynamic, meaning I focus on how past experiences—especially early relationships—shape the way we think, feel, and relate to others today. I help clients uncover unconscious patterns that may be keeping them stuck so they can gain insight and make lasting changes.
In addition to psychodynamic therapy, I integrate EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into my work.
EMDR helps clients process and heal from painful memories by using bilateral stimulation to reduce their emotional intensity, allowing the brain to reprocess them in a more adaptive way. ACT supports clients in accepting difficult emotions rather than fighting them, while encouraging meaningful actions aligned with their values. DBT offers practical tools for emotion regulation, improving relationships, and coping with distress.
